Suitable for continuous industrial production
The PS Photo Frame Extrusion Line provides an integrated solution for manufacturers producing PS photo frame and picture frame profiles.
With a main extruder, co-extruder, profile die, cooling system, thermal transfer printing, haul-off and cutting equipment, the line covers the major stages required for continuous PS profile production.
The equipment can be configured according to the required profile design, output and surface treatment process.
The PS photo frame extrusion process generally follows a continuous profile extrusion workflow:
Raw Material Preparation → Feeding → Main Extrusion + Co-Extrusion → Die Forming → Cooling → Thermal Transfer Printing → Haul-Off → Cutting → Storage
Recycled PS is mixed with suitable additives according to the required product formulation. Different formulations can be used to achieve different profile properties and surface effects.
The use of recycled PS can help reduce material costs while supporting the production of decorative photo frame profiles.
The main single-screw extruder plasticizes and conveys the PS material under controlled temperature conditions.
The extruder configuration can be selected according to the required profile size and production capacity.
A secondary single-screw co-extruder can be used together with the main extruder to form the required profile structure.
This configuration allows the production of profiles with different material layers or functional sections.
The extruded material enters a specially designed die head to form the cross-sectional shape of the photo frame profile.
Different mould designs can be used for different profile shapes and decorative requirements.
After leaving the die, the PS profile passes through the cooling section to stabilize its dimensions and shape.
Stable cooling is important for maintaining consistent profile dimensions during continuous extrusion.
The profile can be processed through a thermal transfer printing system to create decorative surface effects.
Different printing patterns can be selected according to the target photo frame design.
The haul-off unit continuously pulls the profile through the downstream equipment at a controlled speed.
Stable traction helps maintain consistent extrusion and reduces dimensional variation.
The continuous profile is cut into the required lengths and transferred to the storage rack for subsequent packaging or further processing.
